Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 15th June, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PassQuest mobile application, operated by OneDoc AI LLC (“PassQuest”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using PassQuest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PassQuest. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian’s consent to use the app and to these Terms. You may only hold one PassQuest account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the free-tier daily question limit is a violation of these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to notify us at support@passquest.app if you suspect unauthorized access. PassQuest reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Free and Pro plans
Free plan: The free plan gives you 10 practice questions per day for IELTS preparation, full gamification features (XP, streaks, ranks, boss battles), Listening vocabulary flashcards, and basic readiness scoring. Advertising is shown on the free plan. We may adjust the features included in the free plan at any time with reasonable notice.
PassQuest Pro: Pro is a paid subscription offering unlimited daily questions, all available exam types, full readiness breakdown with band score prediction, AI Writing feedback on all four IELTS criteria, upload of study materials for personalised question generation, Deep Study Session focus mode, AI Speaking practice (Phase 2), and no advertising. Pro is available monthly or annually. Pricing is shown in your local currency based on your region at the time of account creation.
XP Boost: A one-time consumable purchase that doubles XP earned for 7 days. Non-refundable once redeemed.
4. Billing and cancellation
Free trial: New annual subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the annual subscription price.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Renewal charges will be applied to your payment method on file with the App Store or Google Play.
How to cancel: Cancel through the platform from which you subscribed — on iOS through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, and on Android through the Google Play app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We cannot process subscription cancellations or refunds directly.
Refunds: Refunds are governed by the Apple App Store and Google Play refund policies. Please contact Apple or Google directly. We are not able to process refunds on their behalf.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days’ notice before any pricing change affects your subscription.
5. Acceptable use
By using PassQuest, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or algorithms of the app.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the app, farm XP, or manipulate the rank system.
- Upload content that you do not own or have the right to share, including copyrighted materials belonging to third parties.
- Share, sell, or transfer your account to any other person.
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from PassQuest — questions, explanations, model answers, or feedback — without our written permission.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm other users or PassQuest.
- Bypass subscription gates or the free-tier question limit by any technical means.
6. AI-generated content
PassQuest uses artificial intelligence to generate practice questions, training plans, Writing feedback, and Speaking assessment. By using these features, you acknowledge:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inconsistencies and should not be treated as a definitive assessment of your ability.
- Readiness scores and projected band scores are statistical estimates — not official IELTS scores.
- Writing feedback is produced by AI, not by a certified IELTS examiner. It is for coaching purposes only.
- The AI Speaking examiner does not assess Pronunciation. This requires a qualified human examiner. The Speaking band estimate excludes this component.
- Practice questions are independently created and are not official IELTS questions from Cambridge, the British Council, or IDP Education.
You retain ownership of writing you submit and speaking audio you record. You grant PassQuest a limited licence to transmit this content to OpenAI solely for the purpose of generating your feedback. We do not use your submitted content to train AI models.
7. Intellectual property
PassQuest and all content within the app — including the brand, design, gamification system, question bank, and AI feedback systems — are the intellectual property of OneDoc and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PassQuest for your own personal, non-commercial exam preparation only.
IELTS trademark notice. IELTS is a registered trademark of the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge English), the British Council, and IDP Education Australia.
PassQuest is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of these organisations. Our practice materials are independently created and are not derived from or licensed from official IELTS materials.
8. Uploaded content
Pro subscribers may upload study materials to personalise their question bank. By uploading, you confirm you own the content or have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights. You retain ownership of your uploads. We process them solely to generate personalised questions for your account and do not share them with other users or use them to train AI models.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
PassQuest is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any readiness estimate or AI feedback will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PassQuest and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on band score estimates, AI feedback, exam outcomes, immigration decisions, or university admission results.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to PassQuest in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
10. Account deletion and termination
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, exam history, uploads, and all personal data within 30 days. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel that separately through the App Store or Google Play to avoid future charges.
Termination by PassQuest. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Where termination is for cause, no refund will be issued.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware. Any disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (or the equivalent applicable body in your jurisdiction). Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
Nigerian users retain the right to bring data-related complaints before the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Users in the UK and EU retain rights under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at passquest.app/terms and in the app under Settings → Terms & Conditions.
13. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and PassQuest. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. For questions, contact us at support@passquest.app.
